Montygonza's Monthly Card Challenges - #OCT09

Welcome to my first ever Card Challenge.

Today I have decided to create a monthly Card Challenge and today it will be a card sketch challenge.  To play along you have to use the sketch above and create your own card.  It must be a new card created for this challenge.  You may combine with other challenges as long as the sketch design is maintained.   Below is my interpretation of the sketch I created.   I will judge each card and pick a winner, I will also pick a top 5 in order.   There will be prizes but since this will be the first Challenge and I don't know how many people will play, it will be just for fun.

To play along just add a link to your card creation in the comments section of my blog, and mention Montygonza's Card Challenges in your blog.  I will go to your site and leave a comment so that you know when I have looked at your card.
The winners will be announced on my Blog on the  1ST of OCT.

Good luck and enjoy  Spread the word!

Vintage Anya

Today's card is combining two challenges. One is from the Farm Fresh Friday challenge where we had use stitching on the card whether it be done with a sewing machine or faux stitching. I used faux stitching on the card.

The second challenge is for the SFTW challenge where we had to create a vintage style card. I used distressing around the DS paper and the center panel.

The colours used is pale plum and perfect plum, whisper white and basic black. DS paper is from Kaiser and the Stamp is from The Greeting farm. The necklace is blinged up with glitter.

Thank you for looking

I layered the rose to create a 3d look. I did this by first stamping the image from the Fifth avenue floral SU set twice. Then cutting out the center part of the rose of one of the images. Then I cut out the center out of that, so it created a hole. When I placed the cut out back on top of the rose it looks like the center is inside the outer rose petals. I used brown see through ribbon and the sentiment is from the Warmest Reguards SU Set.

The colours are Close cocoa, cream, Natural Ivory and DS paper Spring Fever.
We had a winter thunderstorm here this morning and in the afternoon. My poor daughter nearly got soaked when I picked her up from school.
See ya

THE TGF BIRTHDAY BLOG HOP 2009!!!!

WELCOME to My Blog!!!!
Thank you all for droping in on my blog. Below is my Birthday Card, made especially for this occasion. The Card is half A4 size which is pretty big. I wanted to put all the TGF stamps I had on them, but I would've need a bigger card LOL. On this card are some of my all time favourites, but mostly the ones I love to colour. I blinged up the card, with glitter on the Ballerina's tutu and on Tinkerbell's wings. Please don't look too closely at the colouring in as I did this with not much light and it was late at night.

I just want to say I love The Greeting Farm stamps, Marie you are a wonderful talent, thank you for stamps and I look forward to buying more stamps from TGF in the future.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
