200th post

Hi everyone,

It's my 200th post!! I can't believe it.

Here are two cards that I made with my new Sweet November Star Sign stamps.

Here is Virgo and Scorpio. These are really fun to colour with copics you can be so creative.

The first card Scorpio I used the same colourings as the creator Amy had in one of her cards as I just love the colour combo. I put my personally touches with the stars (can you find the southern cross). I used SCS 214 sketch as the background and kept the colour combo going through the card. Gee I am a big fan of the Cherry Cobbler colour. The second card fell into place since I had the background all ready to go. I carried the green theme into the flower and I chose big blue eyes as I wanted a tropical theme. I ummed and ahhed which sentiment to use since I had limited space and eventually went with Stampin' Up! Happy birthday from hostess Afterthoughts stamps set.

Hope you enjoy it.

Easter Blessings

Hello everyone,

I am created this card for several challenges today.

I wanted to recreate the moment of the cross with the 3pm sunset. I sponged different purples to create a layer effect finishing with cameo coral and the green grass. The cross was stamped first and covered with a post it note to keep it clean. I coloured the cross with copics.

I used the MOJO monday's sketch and my new black satin ribbon, so I was delight the sketch as a ribbon element. YAY!

I am also entering it into the following challenges.
Anyone for Anya?? - Easter card
Stampin for the weekend - Easter
Have a good weekend.

Formal Nora

Hello,

Sorry I have been absent for a while as I have been very busy with work and school etc. Also my Father had major surgery last week which was a stressful time. He is recovering well which pleases the whole family.

It my birthday on monday so I made this formal card to celebrate. No not reallyLOL.

I really enjoyed colouring this image from Whiff of Joy as you can get really creative with the dress. I used the SC294 as the sketch which was easier than it looks to make.

I am entering the card into the following challenges:
Whiff of joy _ anything goes
Stampin for the weekend - mother's day
Simon Says Stamp Challenge - girlie/mother's day card
Colour Create challenge - pastels

Shells Color dare

Hi everyone,

Sorry I haven't posted for a while my girls are back to school the last couple of weeks and just getting back into the swing of things there.

I created today's card for the Colour dare which wanted Night of Navy, Marina Mist and river rock.

I wanted layers and I created them. I ummed and ahhhed what I was going to use for the centre, I wanted flowers but the them screamed nautical to me so I went with my trusty Stipple shells set from Stampin Up! The sentiment is from the Greeting Farm's Shepard boy set.

Thank you for looking.

Pearl in pink!

Hello Everyone

Today's card is for Mad for markers Crazy hair colouring challenge. Using copics we have to colour an image not using the traditional hair colours eg blonde, brunette, red etc. We had to use another colour.

I have chosen pink and I think I used a colour combo that most people wouldn't use I used, R85, RV34 and E04 for the hair. I used E95, E02 and E11 for the skin and SU Eggplant to colour in the bubbles in her hair and her costume. Her eyes are YG03 and her lips are r85.

The image is Sweet November Stamps' Pearl Tidepool that has been blown up using my scanner, I just love her face, and I feel I will be using her more. The designer paper is from SU along with bling. The flowers are from Kaisercraft.
