Arigato Mojo

I made this card for the Mojo Monday sketch.   I had this DP paper for awhile and was going to pair it up with Geisha Anya stamp from TGF.   I was waiting for the right sketch and found it.

The brown DP was hand done.  I used a stamp from the SU Embrace Life stamp and coloured in the flower with white gel pen.   I used glitter glue on the butterflies.

Cutie Patootie Madness

Hello,
I am back at work now after a great holiday.    I made this card for the Midnight Madness Sketch 38.
I added a little extra oval in the top left corner as it was a bare compare to the rest of the card.
I had coloured in the little girl around Christmas time hoping to use her but I wasn't happy with the colour I had chosen for the bunny.   Now I have found the perfect sketch to suit the girl and the bunny.

Stamps: TGF - Suggle H&F, Oh baby, Bunnies.  SU- boho set.
You should be able to leave a comment now.  I think there was problems with the new layout template I installed.

Sweet November Candy

Candy time!!

Amy Young from A thousand sheet of Paper, the talented design team member for Anya and Friends at The Greeting Farm and the brilliant designer of the new stamp range Sweet November is giving  Candy to launch her new stamps.

For the opportunity to win this gorgeous candy all you have to do is drop a comment on her blog for each candy.   I love her cards they are the most colourful and clever cards I have seen.  I love colour so I guess that is why I am attracted to her talent.  Sweet November are not only cute but they look like they are fun to colour as well.  They are definitely on my Birthday list if not before.

Stampin for the weekend

Hello everyone,

I had a wonderful time down the coast.  After the inital fret of leaving my stamping I relaxed and enjoyed myself.
The girls has a wonderful time down at the beach, they got to go into the surf with Mum and Dad and thought it was wonderful.  I thnk they ended up drink half the ocean, but they had fun never the less.

Well it didn't take long, I caught up with all the blog and challenges and I decided to enter the Stampin for the weekend sketch challenge.

The image is from Artee Stamps designed by Donna Hunt.  I decided to make it a get well card when the ink made a mark on the forhead of the bear.  I made it into a scar to cover the mark up.  Hopefully it isn't too obvious.

I promised photos of my holiday, but honestly I never took the camera anywhere so I really didn't take any photos.

Going on Holidays!!

We're all going on a Summer Holiday, no more working for a week or two....

I love that song and the movie.    I will be away all week as we are going down to the coast for some time out with the family.  This is the first time we are taking our small dogs, so we will be travelling for two hours with two girls and two dogs (won't that be fun :P).   I will take some cool photos and show you.

I will be back on the weekend then we will do it all again for the next week.
Aldred has cricket and I umpire cricket on the weekends so we had to come back for that.

Scavenger Hunt challenge.
The above image is a gorgeous card. Made by a talented lady.  You will find this in the TGF galleria.
When you find it post a comment below and something about the beautiful card.

GOOD LUCK

Guest DT for Anya Ink

WHOOO HOOO!

I've been dying to say something all week, but haven't been able to until now.  I have been asked to be a guess designer for the Anya Ink challenge this week.

The challenge this week was a doozy and I had to stratch my head to work out what I was going to do. We have to create a card with only one layer....that's right just the card base.

Here is my card.

I used my favourite cow stamp from the McSplendid set and stamped it onto the card.  I chose Kraft stock paper because it worked well with the stamp (less colouring).  I coloured the cow in with black copic and white gel pen.   To create the circle I punched out on a scrap piece of paper the circle and used that a template.  I then sponged whisper white ink around the image.  I used black maker and add dots to highlight the edge.  I then paper peirced the corners to add a bit of decoration.  I was going to put a sentiment but I thought it looked cute as it was.  What do you think?

Now go try this challenge.  It's hard than it looks.   You will find the challenge on Anya Ink along with the other wonderful cards for inspiration from the regular Design team.

I would like to all thank you for the kinds words of support and your prayers from my Aunty.  She is improving each day (not dramatically) but it positive.  She is getting movement back in her face and she has some feeling in her arm however she still can move it.

Midnight Madness #35

I made this card for the Midnight Madness sketch challenge.  I chose the purple theme to match the DP I had.
The colours used are eggplant, perfect plum, sahara sands.  The image is from TGF Twinkle tots and I enjoyed colouring her in with my new copics.

As I was linking this card to the blog I noticed it is practically identical to the sketch. He He He,  I guess I took the sketch burned its way into my mind.

A new begining for a baby boy's MOJO

Cryptic title..... No not really it.  I have made a card that fit three challenges.  Firstly is the theme, both Stamping for the Weekend and Cards for Men wanted cards that were about new beginnings.  So since Cards for men need a male oriented card I chose the new life of a baby boy.  The sketch for the card was from the Mojo Monday's sketch.

I used SU Designer paper from Spring Break and Parisian Breeze.  The images are from The Greeting Farm Oh baby set.

The yellow DP paper had chocolate waves through it so I crush it up and then inked it up with cocoa ink to give it  a more distressed look.  Added faux stitching around the square and used copics and SU markers to colour.

Lemons and Limes

I made this card using the sketch from Cute Card Thursday.  It was a lovely sketch and was easy to do and great fun.  I used the colour scheme from the challenge at Colour Create.   They wanted us to use Lemon and Lime.  I had many images to choose from but I decided to go with TGF digi that I can coloured last year.

Anya Ink - black and white and another colour challenge

Over at Anya Ink their challenge was to make a card or project using Black and White and another colour.

I didn't intent to do black, white, red (cause everyone does those colours) but it fit in with the The Greeting Farm stamp that I got for Christmas.  Plus I just bought the polka dot Ribbon from SU for valentine projects so I was dying to use it.

I had a lot of fun colouring her in.  Black hair is always a challenge but very fun to do.  I love this stamp it so cute I will definitely using her more this year.

I got some bad news the other day with my Aunt rushed to hospital with a stroke.  It was a severe stroke but they got to hospital quickly so she was treated straight away.  She has a paralyzed arm and face, a partial paralyzed leg.  We are praying for a quick recovery if there is such a thing.

Pampering to my MOJO

Wow is the new year I can't believe it.   I keep saying I'll do it next year but it already next year.

I have some many New Years Resolutions and I am hoping to stick to them.   HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all and I hope this year is fantastic in everyway.

I"ve been a very good girl as SANTA did bring me my new 72B copics to go with my 72A copics so I've been on cloud nine all this time.  However now that I have the whole colour scheme I'm finding I"m spending too long trying to chose which colours to use LOL.

I am almost late with the MOJO sketch because of the above problem.   SANTA also gave a whole lot of TGF stamps and I have been madly trying to organise myself so I can play with them.

Here is my MOJO sketch.  I chose Artichoke, Celery and Bashful Blue together after I had coloured in the new Me Time Anya set.

I hope you like it.
