Shells Color dare

Hi everyone,

Sorry I haven't posted for a while my girls are back to school the last couple of weeks and just getting back into the swing of things there.

I created today's card for the Colour dare which wanted Night of Navy, Marina Mist and river rock.

I wanted layers and I created them. I ummed and ahhhed what I was going to use for the centre, I wanted flowers but the them screamed nautical to me so I went with my trusty Stipple shells set from Stampin Up! The sentiment is from the Greeting Farm's Shepard boy set.

Thank you for looking.

Pearl in pink!

Hello Everyone

Today's card is for Mad for markers Crazy hair colouring challenge. Using copics we have to colour an image not using the traditional hair colours eg blonde, brunette, red etc. We had to use another colour.

I have chosen pink and I think I used a colour combo that most people wouldn't use I used, R85, RV34 and E04 for the hair. I used E95, E02 and E11 for the skin and SU Eggplant to colour in the bubbles in her hair and her costume. Her eyes are YG03 and her lips are r85.

The image is Sweet November Stamps' Pearl Tidepool that has been blown up using my scanner, I just love her face, and I feel I will be using her more. The designer paper is from SU along with bling. The flowers are from Kaisercraft.

Hey brown cow

Hello everyone,
I made this card using Sketch Saturday's sketch #140. I firstly coloured the TGF cow, one of my favs from this range. I didn't really know what colour scheme I was going to use other than brown and white, but then I found this DP western style from Stampin' Up! and it decided it for itself. The sentiment is also from The Greeting Farm. I am going to also enter this card in the Simon Says Stamp challenge of animal antics. I this is cute cow looks cheeky enough to be invovlved in some antics LOL.

Thank you for looking.

Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi

Hello everyone,

This familiar chant always echoes around any sporting arena, but particularly on Australia Day which will occur in two weeks time.
Over at Mad for Markers they are celebrating this Event via their challenge. We had a choice of the Australian Flag colours (red white and blue) or our national colours (green and gold).

I have choosen the latter. Using green and yellow as the theme.

I have used te Belles n' Whisltes stamp Bear hug and coloured her in using the copics YG67,YG63,G02,G07,G14, Y08, YG00, E35,E37, E02 and E00.

The designer paper is left over Stampin' Up! DP and the ribbon is wild wasabi.

I have also entered this card for Crazy 4 challenges - thank you, and Lothian Crafts Online - anything goes.

Vogue Flowers

Hello everyone,

I decided to play along with Colour Q today, as the colours chosen were bright and bubbly.

I didn't have Melon Mambo colour ink pad (as yet :) ) so I created the colour using cameo coral and Pink Passion. Firstly I stamped the flower image in Cameo Coral then lightly stamped the image with Pink Passion then pressed on the white paper, it gave it a smashed look so i was please. I used the Vintage Vogue flowers from SU because they are so light and gorgeous. I used the leaves from Blossom's Abound SU set and stamped them in Kiwi Kiss. I was going to highlight the leaves with Taken with Teal but is changed colour to a different green. I always forget our beautiful Kiwi Kiss is as a colour is like crisp lemon green, that just pops out at you.
I added pearls the centres of the flowers I was going to add glitter but I decided against it. I was going to Distress the edges in tangerine but I think it would've over empowered the lightness of the card so I went with faux stiching.

Thank you so much for looking
